About Rodolphe Durand's work:
"Organizations are an essential part of the social and economic fabric of our lives and we keep thinking about them in terms of absolute and relative performance. In my research I try to unravel the strategic, social, and institutional dimensions that determine the conditions at which organizations and firms can develop a competitive advantage.
Therefore I analyze the evolution of industries where novelty and conformity put high pressure on organizations, as for instance business schools, haute cuisine, biotech, and movie industries."
